I joined Department of Urogynaecology in KK Women and Children hospital in 2009.The subspecialty generated a lot of interest in me to build myself in clinical , surgical and academic skills. The place and department provided me a lot of opportunities to utilize my capabilities as follows.
- July 2011-Won merit award at 6th KKH Annual scientific meeting ,by presenting a paper in Urogynaecology-“5 years outcome for Tension free vaginal tape for female stress urinary incontinence”
- August 2011-Presented a paper in SICOG 2011-“2,3,and 4 year outcome of Prolift surgery for Pelvic Organ Prolapse”and a Poster presentation on “Risk factors for failure of TVT for female stress incontinence”
- September 2011- Presented Oral Poster in IUGA 2011, Lisbon Portugal–“5 years outcome for Tension free vaginal tape for female stress urinary incontinence”
- January 2012- Invited as Operating surgical Faculty in Urogynaecology workshop in AICOG 2012, Banaras India and performed TVT-O incontinence surgery in live surgical workshop.

Conducted FREE UROGYNAECOLOGICAL CAMPS with free consultations and health awareness talks.
Ist Free UROGYNAECOLOGICAL camp – SUSHRUT HOSPITAL ,Borivali west ,Mumbai- September 2018,generated a response of 60 patients with Urogynaecological problems.
2nd Free UROGYNAECOLOGICAL Camp – APPLE DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE ,Bandra west, Mumbai- December 2018, generated a response of 50 patients with Urogynaecological problems.

Clinical and surgical skills
My primary interest is Urogynaecology ,which includes Vaginal surgeries for Female Urinary Incontinence ( Mid Urethral Slings ), Pelvic Organ Prolapse, ( Vaginal Hysterectomy, Sacrospinous fixation, Pelvic Floor Repair), Interstitial Cystitis, Overactive Bladder, Female Sexual Dysfunction(FSD) and Cosmetic Gynaecology.
- UROGYNAECOLOGY-
I am capable of doing independent Vaginal surgeries for Pelvic Organ Prolapse including Vaginal Hysterectomy, Manchester Repair, Pelvic Floor Repair, Sacrospinous fixation, Mesh repair for vault prolapse and others.I have great interest in doing incontinence surgeries namely TVT , TVT-O, TVT- Exact , TVT –Abbrevo. Apart from surgical skills ,I am well trained for medical management of Overactive bladder, Painful bladder syndrome, Interstitial cystitis, and recurrent UTI in females. I have trained myself in doing non invasive cosmetic Gynaecology procedures like Laser and Radiofrequency vaginal rejuvenation procedures. I will also be completing my training in invasive surgical cosmetic gynaecology soon by doing the part 2 of training course.
Thesis Work (2005) -“Role of intravaginal Misoprostol for cervical Ripening and Induction of Labour in patients with Pregnancy Induced Hypertension” accepted by Delhi University .
